About Buckhorn Ranch
Established in 2001. Managed by volunteer board members elected by residents.
We are a small, friendly community of 150+ homes and condos located in beautiful Crested Butte, Colorado. Our goals are to maintain property values, keep our neighborhood safe & beautiful, and foster good neighbor relationships through compassionate outreach and leadership.
Our vision is to develop and sustain a desirable, natural, well-maintained mountain community supported by respectful, caring, and kind neighbors, who collaborate to preserve the beauty, safety, and value of our properties and our natural surroundings, while also helping to maintain the uniqueness of our broader Crested Butte community.
The Board serves homeowners by taking a fair, ethical, and objective approach in representing the interest of everyone who lives in Buckhorn Ranch.

Design Review Committee
The DRC deliberates over new construction projects located within Buckhorn Ranch. All meetings are open to the public and are typically held monthly on the 3rd thursday. Any significant change to a current home or new construction must be submitted to the DRC for approval.

Buckhorn Ranch oowns, operates, and maintains our water company. This is a very important resource that we all depend on and use daily. Please do your best to conserve usage.

Short Term Rentals (STRs)
Buckhorn Ranch does not limit short term rentals - but we do strictly enforce rules on guest behavior and usage. STR managers must register their property and pay an associated $300 yearly use fee.

- HOA dues are $450 and water service is $337. Both are billed on a semi-annual basis. Contact Toad for questions

- Pickleball and tennis courts are open from 8AM to 8PM. For the Gate code contact Steve → 303-931-8476
- Gunnison County and Buckhorn Ranch both support → Dark Sky
- Christmas lights should be on timers and turn off at a reasonable time. Please take down lights by March.
- Roads and openspace are owned by the greater Buckhorn Ranch community. Feel free to recreate responsibly.
- Respect private property. Nobody likes random people in their backyard.

- Construction work is permitted between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday. No construction allowed on Sundays.
- Speed limit is 15 MPH throughout the neighborhood. There are plenty of kids playing on our roads, do your best to slow down.
- Buckaroo Park is open from 8AM to 8PM.
- Dogs are allowed off leash but must be under strict voice control.
- Please don't walk on the landing strip. Ever.
